The Bell County Bar Association Paralegals will meet this Thursday, June 15 at 5:30PMat The Carlson Law Firm located at 100 East Central Texas Expressway, Killeen, Texas 76541. When arriving at the office please let the receptionist know that you are there for the BCBAP meeting in the training room. Our speaker will be Alton Stuart he will be discussing Women’s Safety Training. This topic will be beneficial for everyone.
For anyone that is not able to attend in person you will have the option of having a virtual meeting. There are only eight individual slots available however feel free to get together with other members to watch the meeting online. Please RSVP by 4:00pm on Wednesday June 14th. Registration will begin at 8:15, business meeting from 8:30 to 8:45 in Judge Jones' courtroom.
Ethics courses will start at 8:45 and run up to the lunch hour.
Following lunch, there will be breakout sessions. A family / civil law track (3 hours) will be held in Judge Jones' courtroom, and a criminal law track (3 hours) will be held in Judge Adams' courtroom, both starting at 1:15. We anticipate being completely finished by 4:30 p.m.
As always, the Conference is FREE to paid members of the Bell County Bar Association and the Bell County Bar Association Paralegals. Non-member attorneys can attend for $45, non-member paralegals can attend for $25, payable at check-in.

Fall Bench Bar will be on September 29 in Judge Jones' courtroom at the Judicial Complex. The course has been approved for SIX HOURS of participatory CLE, and one hour of ethics. Registration will open at 8:15 a.m., first session begins at 8:45 a.m.. Topics include counsel for sexual assault in the military, criminal law and family law updates, bankruptcy, and others. Lunch and afternoon snacks are included in this CLE which is FREE to paid BCBA and BCBA Paralegal members.
